Not dated but c 1940. 160pp. 45 illustrations in text by A S Paterson. Blue cloth-covered boards, a little rubbed at edges, with minor fraying at spine tips. Remnants of label. Endpapers a tad creamed, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Sketches of material regarding the native Maori race gathered while the author spent five years in the remote backblocks of Maoriland in the 1930s. Paints picture of contemporary Māori life. 0
