Two matching volumes (298pp & 220pp), both from the Carfax Edition of Cary's works. Red publisher's cloth boards (hint of fading and rubbing on corners), coloured upper edges. Decorated grey endpapers. 12mo. Boards very slightly bumped at edges, very minor marks. Light spotting on text block edge. The Horse's Mouth has an attractive bookplate on the front paste down endpaper indicating the book once belonged in the collection of Arroll Robey. Very attractive and clean pair of books. Jackets fitted with archival-quality Mylar wrapper to protect & prolong life. Not adhered to the book or to the jacket.
