Tissue-guarded plate frontispiece, six further plate illustrations and fold-out plan of Ladysmith at rear. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring very occasional spotting. Very nice copy. Scarce original copy of this account of the 5th Dragoon guards in South Africa during the Boer War, particularly focusing on the Siege of Ladysmith.
