Two volumes from the Ladybird "Key Words Reading Scheme", first introduced in 1964. Both volumes feature the 'closed wing' Ladybird logo which was first used in 1965. All three have 52pp, full colour illustrations; gentle edge wear to the matt pictorial card covers, some minor scuffing to spine ends and minor marks externally. 9a has some loss along lower portion of spine; internally neat, clean, bright and tight and free from annotations. Both price marked 15p, indicating publication between June 1971 and April 1974. 12mo
