A handsome, illustrated edition of Farnol's celebrated Regency roamance, set largely in Sissinghurst, Kent. First published in 1910, this copy is a first printing of the first illustrated edition. Boards a tad rubbed at edges, rounded at spine tips, a few very minor marks. Crease and hint of tanning on endpapers. Occasional spotting. Previous owner's inscription on half title page. 4to.
