Bound in beautiful soft green leather. Gilded upper text block edges. Red silk ribbon markers. 12mo. Tissue-guarded plate illustrations to frontispiece. Deep green endpapers. Two colour printing to titles. In one volume, the bastard title page is melded to endpaper. Lovely little volumes, just a little rubbed at edges, rounded at corners and mildly spine sunned. Ribbon markers fragile. Would make lovely gift for a Thackeray fan.
