1st edition, 1st impression, 208pp. Brown cloth boards with Mills and Boon motif in corner (rubbed on corners, rounded at spine tips a few marks). Lending sheet on front free endpaper, no other library markings. Occasional foxing. In its original dust jacket (worn around edges, chapped at upper edge, marks on verso, shelf wear). Dust jacket supplied in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect and prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket. Hard to find title, especially in its original dust jacket. Macleod also wrote under the pen name Catherine Airlie. She was a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association where she fostered a none-to-friendly relationship with Barbara Cartland.
