Old and rather clumsy tape repairs to three gutters, light pencil markings on prelims. In an original, faded dust jacket (rubbed and chipped at edges, especially on corners, minor loss down leading fold, coffee ring on verso - but crucially the rather fine cover illustration is in tact). Dust jacket supplied in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect and prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket. Uncommon book, hard to find in any edition, scarce in dust jacket.
