[1947] 1st ed, 1st imp. 206pp. Black cloth boards (worn and faded, rounded and rubbed at corners and spine ends, a few marks). Lending sheet on front free endpaper but no other library markings. Occasional foxing. Old tape repair to gutter between front endpapers. Some spotting to well-thumbed pages. Slightly cocked. In its original worn and edge-chapped dust jacket (spine creases, flap tear across verso, creased). Dust jacket now in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket. An early romance novel, now very hard to find, from Anne Lorraine, who wrote a large number of medical, doctor/nurse romances.
