First ed, first imp. 254pp. Black cloth boards (generally worn, rounded at corners and spine ends, some mild marks). Lending sheet on front free endpaper, no other library markings. Old tape repair in front endpaper gutter and title page. Pages well-thumbed, a little spotting. In its original dust jacket (rubbed at edges, chipped at points, spine creased with short crack, old interior tape repairs, shelf wear). Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. James Hadley Chase was a pen name of Ren� Lodge Brabazon Raymond.
