314pp plus publisher's catalogue bound in. 12mo. Green cloth boards, illustrated on front and spine (boards rubbed and rounded at edges, very slightly frayed at spine tips). Mild spotting to text block edge but internally very bright, crisp and clean. A very nice copy of this hard to find volume, from Currey's series of naval historical novels featuring Ian Hardy. The series was largely written during this first world war (1914-18), with this novel first being published in 1916.
