150pp. Frontispiece and line drawings in text, all by W T Mars. Illustrated endpapers. Blue cloth boards (a little worn and faded at edges). Internally neat, clean and tight, barring a hint of toning. In its original dust jacket (art work by Regie Gillard) (rubbed and a little chipped at edges in places). Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. A fine tale about Nomusa, the daughter of a Zulu chief who loves all her brothers and sisters and enjoys helping to look after them - but she is also full of adventure and envies her brothers when they join the men on the hunt.
