[1958] 1st edition, first printing (true first). 302pp. Upper edge tinted blue (as called for). Colour plate frontispiece and full page line drawings. Grey cloth boards with brown titles (strong, square, sharp and bright, slightly rounded at spine ends). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight, barring a hint of toning. In its original price clipped dust jacket (lightly bumped at corners, a little browned at edges). Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket.
