First edition, first printing (true first). 192pp. Colour plate frontispiece and four full page line drawings by Mays. Pale yellow cloth-covered boards with brown lettering (hint of rounding at spine tips and corners, perhaps a little worn). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight baring a couple of mild marks on front endpaper and half title page. In its original dust jacket (rubbed at edge with a few small nicks and short creases, mild shelf wear visible on verso). Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. Returning to Linbury Court School, this time the trouble starts on the train journey to get there for Jennings and his pal. Very nice copy.
