1930, 1931. 2 volumes. Nos. 30 & 38 in the Ariel Poems series. Both volumes signed by the author, Roy Campbell on the half title pages. Both volumes printed on hand made paper and part of a limited edition (Choosing a Mast is No. 200 of an edition limited to 300; and The Gum Trees is No. 169 if an edition limited to 400). Both volumes a case bound (boards a little worn at edges , mildly sunned around spine). The Gum Trees has two lithograph illustrations by David Jones, one in colour; and Choosing the Mast has two lithograph illustrations by Barnett Freedman, one in colour. A lovely pair of fine quality, hard to find poetry.
