(Boards lightly rubbed at edges, more markedly at corners and around spine). Gloriously decorated endpapers, gleaming with gilding. A fabulous collection of coloured plate illustrations of Queen Victoria's dolls, many of the modeled on real people, with accompanying descriptive text. Each text section starts with a decorated capital which, it seems, a previous owner has coloured, for the most part elegantly and neatly. Previous owner's inscription on half title, else internally clean, fresh and bright.
