Not dated but c 1890. 76pp. Eighteen gleaming, gilt embellished, full page illustrations of saints. Linen spine over illustrated card boards (faded, lightly rubbed at edges). Internally a little toning , else neat and tidy. Binding is fragile, with a couple of strained gutters. Brief descriptions of the lives of key Christian saints including St Peter, St Andrew, St Thomas, St Mattias, etc, but the chief attraction of this slim volume is the gleaming and elegant illustrations.
