72pp text and entries follow by c 200 plate illustrations of the works and art held in Bradford City's Art Gallery at Lister Park. Card covers, a little chapped at edges, worn and with Lister Park written on front. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring the occasional library stamp. Of particular interest may be the sections on the museum's stained glass, with designs by Ford Maddox Brown, Sir Edward Burne-Jones, William Morris, and Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Mostly the collection at the time of the publication of this edition included then living painters, covering the latter part of the British School of Art. Artists represented include George Morland, Arthur Rackman, Rosetti, Sir John Tenniel, Burne-Jones. Includes brief history of the museum and art gallery.
