Buckram covered boards with gilt decoration and lettering, bevelled edges, all edges gilt (boards a little worn, especially at corners and spine tips, some mild marks, starting at tips of lightly sunned spine). A bible extract has been pasted onto the front endpaper, which also has a previous owner's name. Old presentation inscription on title page. Gutter strained but holding between front endpapers. Some spotting throughout. This second edition contains material not found in the first - namely the Exposition upon the Altar of Burnt Offering has been written, and the fine illustrations appear in this edition for the first time.
