Undated, circa 1860 (following the first edition of 1854). xiv, 184pp plus publisher's catalogue at rear. Red cloth-covered boards with gilt and black decorations and gilt lettering on spine, black and gilt embossed design with gilt text. (Boyne, A Yorkshire Library, p. 33). Mildly rounded spine ends. Green end papers with blemish on front free end paper. Internally excellent, clean, clear and tight. A portrait of the author laid in. A truly beautifully preserved volume. 12mo.
