Undated, circa 1860 (following the first edition of 1854). xiv, 184pp plus publisher's catalogue at rear. Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on a sunned spine, black and gilt decorations. Rubbed at spine ends and corners. (Boyne, A Yorkshire Library, p. 33). Slight foxing on text block edges. Green end papers. Impression of paper clip on first 4 pages, else internally excellent, clean, clear and tight. A truly beautifully preserved volume. 12mo.
