xxxii, 256pp with six colour plate illustrations (Tissue-guarded; one almost loose); black and white frontispiece also tissue-guarded, and several other in-text black and white engravings. Red cloth-covered boards with gilt decorations and title on spine and front, blind embossed decorations on verso; bevelled edges. Spine ends rubbed, corners ever so slightly rounded. Mild, general wear on boards, a few small, mild marks on verso. All edges gilt. Previous owner's bookplate on front paste-down, gutter cracked between front endpapers, else firm. First two page have small closed, else internally neat, clean and bright. 12mo.
