16pp. Printed card covers, stapled pamphlet. Blue card covers a little faded around spine, with a couple of small marks. Internally neat, crisp and clean. The entire pamphlet has been two punched holes, consistent with having been previously filed in a ring binder. Inscribed by the author on the front cover: "with the author's compliments". Published just 12 months after the first spade was turned on the excavations, this provides an account of the archaeological works undertaken and what was found, together with a brief account of the history of Knaresborough Castle.
