Various records of Harrogate and its environs from the mid 16th to the early 19th centuries , with an extensive introduction giving a history of the Yorkshire town; includes an early history of the Harrogate waters and springs, as well as a fascinating account of unlawful hunting in the forest of Knaresborough towards the end of the 15th century and other similar records.
