1870s. 444pp. Engraved frontispiece. Volume from the Knebworth edition of Lord Lytton's works, produced in the 1870s. Half dark blue leather binding, over lighter blue pebbled cloth, with gold rules decoration, five raised bands, gilt lettering and decoration on spine, all edges marbled, marbled endpapers, illustrated frontispiece. Boards a little rubbed at edges, especially on rear corners and head of spine, with some minor mottling and marks in cloth. Some signs of fingering on pages, page binding fragile. Nice volume, appealing to read and hold. We have several more volumes, in the same, uniform, binding, from the Knebworth edition of Bulwer-Lytton's works - reasonable offers on multiple purchases welcome. 12 mo.
