Not dated but circa 1920. 128pp, colour plate frontispiece and five further colour plate illustrations. In blue cloth-covered boards with tipped in colour illustration on front, and black titles and decorations (boards are strong and square, worn all over, rubbed and rounded around faded spine and corners). Gift inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1923, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Lovely, bright illustrations accompanying David Copperfield retold for younger readers. Evocative, vintage volume.
