First edition, first printing. xiv, 224pp plus publisher's catalogue at rear, with tissue-guarded plate frontispiece and nine further plate illustrations, all by George Wright. In red cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering and decoration (boards are strong, clean and square, a little rounded at spine ends and corners and slightly sunned on spine. A little spotting on text block edges and endpapers, else internally neat, clean and bright. Firmly bound.
