Not dated but circa 1945. A vintage book token stub, with a picture of a desk with a reading lamp in a library; with war-damaged buildings visible through the window. The reverse is complete with a a book plate (detachabke by tearing along a perforated line) showing a smaller version of the same scene. A couple of minor rub marks on front; inscription on reverse indicating that the book token was given by a Barbara, inscribed 'May your shadow never grow less'. Measures approximately 3.5 inches by 5 inches. Stub only.
