Previous owner's name on front free endpaper, small stain affecting edge of first few leaves, else internally neat and tidy barring a few mild signs of fingering. An illustrated dictionary of terms for nurses, with appendices covering topics such as surgical instruments, Anaesthetics and Analgesics, Oxygen Apparatus, Ward Dressings, Blood Transfusions, Urinary Investigations, First Aid Treatment etc. A wonderful snapshot of the nurse's art, skills, methods and tools in the early 1960s.
