In velvet covered boards with brass edges, elegant and finely worked bone and metal decorations, brass clasp closure (velvet is worn and rubbed, heavily so on spine, with some loss around metalwork on front. Brass frame a little strained at clasp. Front endpapers are chapped at edges, discoloured and show signs of having been written on in pencil. Pages browned and fragile. Binding a little loose. 12mo. A beautiful book, just about in good condition.
