The dust jacket is now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. An uncommon title, now hard to find complete with original dust jacket. Jean Estoril wrote several books about ballerina Drina and the Dominick Ballet School. Estoril, who herself enjoyed the ballet, claimed that Drina was 'born' one night during a performance of Daphnis and Chloe at the Royal Ballet in Covent Garden: 'There as a black-haired girl of about ten, wearing scarlet dress, sitting just in front of Miss Estoril, and she suddenly knew that she must write a ballet series centred round a half-Italian girl'.
