[1953] Reissue. Previously published, under the title Breton Holiday, in 1940. 224pp. In emerald green cloth-covered boards (rubbed at edges, gently rounded at spine tips and corners). Pages lightly tanning, especially at margins, else internally clean and neat. In its original dust wrapper, now worn, rubbed and scuffed on corners and spine tips, a couple of short nicks at edges. Jane Shaw was a prolific and popular author of children's books in the mid 20th century, perhaps best remembered for her 'Susan' series.
