The second letter from Leonard James dated May 5th 1947 refers to a citation, a package and a book etc again signed by James. The third letter dated June 6th 1978 is from Mr Frederick Harrison at the academy to "Ted" telling him that Larry has never had a copy of Phillips Academy and does he, Ted, know where a copy may be found. Finally completing the story there is a dedication written on the front free endpaper reading 'To Lawrence Viney from Ted Harrison, June 1978'.
