Internally neat, clean, fresh and bright. Firmly bound. In 'The Small Miracle' Gallico wrote a new story in the same genre at his The Snow Goose, one of the best loved stories of the mid 20th century. The Small Miracle tells of the adventures of a little Italian boy whose donkey fell sick and seemed likely to die.
