Twenty-seventh impression (first cheap edition), 1934. 100pp, with line drawings in text by E H Shepard. In decorated, blue cloth-covered boards (front board ever so slightly bowed, gently faded at edges, a little rounded at corners and spine ends, upper text block edge dust marked). Previous owner's inscription, dated 1935, on the front free endpaper, hint of toning on endpapers, faint occasional spotting, else internally neat, clean and tight. In its original, illustrated dust wrapper (chapped at edges, sunned around spine, short tears at head of spine and upper rear corner, faded). 12mo.
