First edition, first impression. 256pp. Blue cloth-covered boards with black rules and black lettering front and spine (cloth a little rubbed and rounded on corners and spine tips, very slight lean, text block edges slightly darkened). The first page of chapter one has a flat crease and a small chip at edge, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. 12mo. A thriller adventure set in post-revolutionary Russia. S Andrew Wood (who also published under the name Andrew Wood) was a popular novelist of thrillers, detective stories and romances in the first half of the 20th century. Hard to find title.
