Undated but circa 1920 (and certainly prior to 1937, when Windsor and Newton moved away from its original location on Rathbone Place). 60pp plus 64pp Winsor and Newton catalogue bound in at rear. In blue infused cloth wrappers. 12mo. Covers worn, rubbed and faded at edges, with mild discolouration of text block edges. Cracked around an absent backstrip. Front free endpaper removed, else internally neat, clean. Binding holding but fragile. A neat and insightful guide to portrait painting with water colours with oil from one of the oldest and finest produces of artists' materials.
