60pp. In stiff card covers with linen over spine, nicely decorated boards. 8vo. Boards worn, chipped on edges, rubbed and rounded at corners, spine cloth has short crack, bruised at spine tips. Internally, endpapers lightly toned, with some mild spotting throughout. Binding strained but holding with some cracked gutters. One loose page. A collection of recipes for the home cook from the early years of the 20th century - including Sandringham Jelly, Scotch Mist, Judges Head Pudding, Piquante Sauce, Rabbit a la Norfolk, Pork Pies, Mock Goose, Hash Fritters, Oyster Balls, Egg Cutlets, Curry of Lobster given by an old Indian General), etc. A very hard to find vintage cookbook.
