Each issue of the fortnightly Church of England Magazine issued between July and December 1859, bound into one volume. Decorated green cloth-covered boards. 8vo. Cloth is heavily worn and rubbed all over, fraying around corners and spine ends and joints, with minor loss. Front free endpaper absent, binding loosening with some webbing visible. Title page for the first issue absent. Internally the pages show some signs of having been read (minor creases, occasional finger mark, a little wear on edges) but generally neat, clean and bright. Perfectly usable, with care, and readable.
