Undated - gift inscription dated 1955, written in a neat, cursive in blue ink on the front endpaper. 127pp. Includes full page black and white line illustrations throughout, with a striking and vibrant full page coloured illustrations following pages 70 and 96. Bound in blue cloth-covered boards, with deep blue lettering front and spine. 12mo. Gently rubbed and rounded on spine ends and corners, with slightly more wear to the top spine end. Slight spotting on top and lower edge. Minor discolouration of the front board, especially near the edges. Internally, slight crack on front hinge and crease on the rear free endpaper. Inscription in neat blue ink on the front free endpaper, including a Christmas gift message dated in 1955. Infrequent and slight spotting throughout. Otherwise neat, clean, bright and tight.
