Top edge gilt Set in Plantin type and printed letterpress, with lithographed illustrations on Mohawk Superfine acid free paper. Very slightly rubbed on upper leading corner. In its original acetate wrapper. A handsome, finely made volume of Owen's War Poetry, including his last letter to his mother, Susan Owen penned four days before his death. News of his death reached his mother in Shrewsbury on 11 November 1918, as the armistice bells were ringing. Newspaper clipping from 2017 loosely laid in, regarding the discovery of correspondence between Owen and his fellow war poets, Sassoon and Graves and their meeting in Edinburgh.
