First edition, first printing. 200pp. In red cloth-covered boards with black titles on spine. 12mo. Cloth rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, gently worn all over with a few mild marks. Text block edges soft and stained. Ex lending library with label on front free endpaper and stamp on half-title page and rear endpapers. One gutter cracked, half title page partially detached and the leaf for pp15-16 detached but present. A little loose throughout. Some marks and spotting on pages. Rear hinge cracked. We would not usually offer a book in this condition but it is a hard to find title and is readable , or may serve to fill a gap in a collection until a better copy can be found and afforded. Classic crime fiction, from the author of Born with Love.
