First edition, first printing. 190pp. Signed by the author on the title page. In black cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Cloth gently rounded at spine ends. Some light toning to pages, else internally neat, clean and tight. In its original dust jacket, lightly bumped at spine base. Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Ronald Chetwynd-Hayes was a British author best know for his novels in the horror and ghost stories genres. He won the Bram Stoker Award for Life Time Achievement in 1988 and the British Fantasy Society Special Award in 1989.
