Two volumes in matching bindings. 230pp; 178pp. In brown cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. Deep blue endpapers. 8vo. Cloth very slightly rounded at spine ends. Both volumes have a pretty cat-themed bookplate on the front free endpaper. Hint of creaminess to pages, else neat, clean and tight throughout. Both in their original dust jackets, lightly bumped on edges and a little faded over spines. Jazz has the remains of a sticky price label on the reverse. Toni Morrison, perhaps best known for Beloved, was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1993. Pleasing - and now not so easy to find - editions of Morrison's two novels.
