liv, 1376pp, [26] [8] 64pp. In red pictorial cloth binding, with extensive gilt and colour decorations on front panel and spine, blind embossed on rear panel. Bevelled edges. Black endpapers. Title page printed in red and black. 4to. An extremely large and heavy volume which will incur an additional charge for overseas delivery. Boards are worn, rubbed all round edges, cloth rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends, with some small cracks and frays. First few leaves are cracked at gutters and chipped on edges., with binding break and webbing visible between the contents page and the preface. Previous owner's name, dated 1926 opposite title page. Pages toned at edges throughout. Further binding crack in gutter between pp656-7. Perfectly good working/reference copy. Illustrated with 1100 armorial bearings, comprising information concerning all persons bearing hereditary or courtesy titles, privy councillors, knights, and Companions of the various orders, and the collateral branches of all Peers and Baronets, complete with supplements on Royal Warrant holders, Hotels and Charities with Royal Patronage.
