Undated but circa 1925. 312pp, [6], with colour plate frontispiece and two further monochrome plate illustrations. In red cloth-covered boards with gilt titles front and spine. 12mo. Cloth has mottled fading all over, profoundly sunned over spine, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine tips. Elegant, part-gilded prize presentation plate on the front paste down, indicating the volume was awarded to one Kathleen Bishop for attendance at the Deal Wesleyan Methodist Church Sunday School in 1929. A little spotting on frontispiece, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
