Delux edition, in blue cloth-covered folding boards, which seal with silk ties finished with bone pegs. Paper title label on spine. Speckled endpapers. Silk moire internal covers stitched with silk strands. Tissue-guarded frontispiece. Numerous, elegant illustrations through out, a few of which are printed red. Double-leaved fine paper pages throughout. 8vo. The external boards are a little faded, just less than bright,, and very slightly rubbed on edges. Internally bright and vibrant, clean and tight throughout, with a previous owner's inscription, dated 1936, on the title page. A beautiful book packed full of Japanese customs and stories from the start of the 20th century.
