First edition, first printing. 196pp. In black cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper, 'from Clyde Chantler, with love'. 12mo. Boards very gently rubbed and rounded on corners and spine tips. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, now worn, dust jacket, rubbed, chipped on corners and edges in places, with minor loss at spine tips. A novel with Snowdon in the background. Author's first novel set in Wales, her earlier works all having been set in Africa.
