1945 reprint of 1936 1st thus edition. 116pp, colour plate frontispiece and five further colour plate illustrations, all by Harrison Cady. In green cloth boards with black and green stamped illustration and lettering. 12mo. Cloth is a little faded and rounded at spine tips. Small pencil inscription on front pastedown. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, illustrated, dust jacket, a little soiled, and faded, chipped around spine ends and scarred over lower portion of spine, affecting front panel. Minor loss a spine head, spine a little sunned. Dust jacket now protected in Mylar-style wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Charming vintage book.
