First edition, first impression. 484pp. Coloured maps on endpapers. Red cloth boards with black titles on spine. 8vo. Cloth lightly rounded at spine ends. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original price clipped dust jacket, a little bumped and rubbed at edges, lightly sunned over spine with some minor shelf wear visible on verso. Jacket is now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape of adhesives.
